Ryan Patrick, CPA
Ryan Patrick began his public accounting career in Bend in 1978. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University with concentrations in accounting, finance and management.
His areas of specialization include closely held corporations, limited liability companies, complex taxation issues for individuals, estates, trusts, and specialized industries including construction, professional services, manufacturing, farming, ranching, real estate management and development. Ryan is a member of the AICPA and Oregon Society of CPAs.
Ryan is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cascade Bancorp and Bank of the Cascades. During his 19 year tenure with this organization, he also served as the Chairman of the Audit and Trust Committees. Ryan is a former director of St. Charles Health System where he served as Chairman of the Audit, Finance and Compensation Committees. Ryan is a Central Oregon native and has been involved with many local non-profit organizations and has been an instructor with the Central Oregon Community College Business Development Center.
Ryan and his wife Glenna have two adult daughters and were recently blessed with a grandson. In his free time, Ryan enjoys fishing, hunting and having a wonderful time with his wife as they cherish the newest member of the family, travel and explore this next chapter in life.
Lynne Casey, CPA
Lynne Casey has over thirty years of experience in public accounting in Central Oregon. She received a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Arizona in Tucson before moving to Bend in 1978.
Known for her outstanding technical skills and efficient, timely service, Lynne specializes in the complex tax and accounting issues facing both individuals and small businesses.
Lynne is a member of the AICPA and the Oregon Society of CPAs. She served as treasurer for various non-profit organizations over the years by volunteering her tax and accounting expertise.
Cody Martin, CPA
Cody Martin was born and raised in Central Oregon. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and International Business from Oregon State University in 2005, Cody began his public accounting career in the tax department of KPMG in Portland.
In 2006, Cody returned to Central Oregon after deciding that not only was Bend home, but that it was the ideal place to live and work. He joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP as a staff accountant, working with small businesses and individuals, providing income tax preparation and planning services. Cody is a member of the AICPA and the Oregon Society of CPAs.
Away from the office, Cody enjoys spending time with his wife appreciating everything that Central Oregon has to offer. He is an avid Beavers football fan and enjoys hunting, fishing, roping, traveling and all things outdoors.
Kyle Dover, CPA, CFP®
Kyle Dover is a long-term Central Oregonian and grew up in Bend. Kyle joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in 2007, returning to Bend after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Kyle works with our business, fiduciary and individual clients, providing income tax preparation, planning services and accounting consulting. He obtained his CPA license in January 2012 and is a member of the AICPA and Oregon Society of CPAs. In December 2014, Kyle obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Kyle enjoys exploring the world with his wife, Nicole and daughter, Hadley, and is an outdoor enthusiast who is passionate about skiing, hiking, photography and swimming.
Angela Schwebke, CPA
Angela Schwebke is a native Oregonian, born and raised in La Grande. Angie obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Linfield College in McMinnville in 1997.
After graduating from college, Angie moved to Redding, California, where she worked for four years in public accounting and obtained her California CPA license. Wanting to be closer to home, Angie joined Patrick Casey & Co. in July, 2001. Angie works with small businesses and individuals, preparing financial statements and providing income tax preparation and planning services. She is a member of the Oregon Society of CPAs and received her Oregon CPA license in August, 2001.
In her free time, Angie enjoys visiting her family in La Grande and outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking and swimming.
Chelsea Mayer, CPA
Chelsea Mayer joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP as a staff accountant in October 2016 and works with our small business and individual clients, providing tax preparation and planning services. She was born and raised in Solana Beach, CA, and ventured to the University of Idaho to study mathematics, play soccer, and experience the seasons in the Northwest. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, she earned her Master's in Accountancy in 2015. Chelsea worked in public accounting for two years in Portland before moving to Bend.
Chelsea is a travel enthusiast who loves learning about new cultures. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy snowboarding, camping, playing soccer, and hiking with their dogs.
JR Aube, CPA
JR Aube joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP as a staff accountant in December 2017 and works with our small business and individual clients, providing tax preparation and planning services. He was born and raised in Anaheim, CA, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2010. After living and working in Los Angeles, CA for a couple years as a structural engineer, he spent a year travelling and volunteering abroad. Upon returning, he decided to pursue a new career path and obtained a Master’s in Accountancy in 2015. JR worked in public accounting in Long Beach, CA for two years before moving to Bend.
JR’s love of the outdoors was a large factor in his decision to move to Bend. He enjoys travelling, camping, snowboarding, river rafting/kayaking, surfing, sports (soccer, baseball, football), and spending time with his wife and their dog.
Lisa Martin, LTP
Lisa Martin joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in 2017, and prepares individual income tax returns, personal property tax returns and Forms 1099. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oregon. Lisa has previously worked in the drinking water field, both in a testing laboratory and for a water utility. Lisa is a Licensed Tax Preparer.
In her free time, she enjoys baking, camping and hiking with her family, and crafting with her two wonderful children.
Catherine McCoy, Bookkeeper
Catherine McCoy joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in November 2013 to manage our bookkeeping and payroll tax projects. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Catherine has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She has worked for private and public entities since 1980 in various accounting roles. Catherine is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and thrives on the challenges of solving general ledger accounting and payroll problems.
In 1993 Catherine moved to Bend to provide a better lifestyle for her family. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys life with her family, football, photography and enjoying all that Central Oregon has to offer.
Mary Aasland, Administrative Assistant
Mary Aasland joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in the fall of 2016 as our receptionist and administrative assistant. Mary brings 25 years of office and customer service experience to her job. Whether working for corporate leaders at Mitsubishi International, assisting brokers at a real estate office or helping to run a family business, it's always been crucial to her to make sure all the details are taken care of and the client is happy.
Mary was born in Washington and has been in Bend with her family since 1992. Mary's family, which includes her dog, Buddy, and friends have always been the center of her world.
Kim Fergerson, Administrative Assistant
Kim Fergerson joined Patrick Casey & Co. LLP in the fall of 2017 as an administrative assistant. She worked in the banking industry for 17 years and as a substitute educational assistant in the Bend LaPine School District for 4 years. She is an Oregon native and moved to Bend in 2010 with her husband and two children from Troutdale, Oregon. Kim's husband, children and grandchildren are her most favorite thing in the world. She also enjoys hiking, running, traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
