Sarah Lane grew up in Central Oregon. After earning her Associates of Arts degree from COCC in 2003 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon in 2005, Sarah began her public accounting career in the audit department of KPMG in Portland. In December 2006, Sarah received her CPA license.

In the winter of 2007, Sarah returned to Central Oregon to gain income tax experience and to be closer to family and friends. She now works for Patrick Casey & Co. LLP as a staff accountant during tax season and spends the rest of the year continuing her education.

Sarah enjoys traveling, singing, piano, and spending time with friends and family. She has a particular interest in the culture of China and is studying Mandarin.
